RYVELO

Keep your word to yourself.

Most apps cheer you on. Ryvelo holds you to what you said you would do — and lets someone else hold you to it too.

The Ryvelo home screen: a 90-day streak, today's promises, and a goal carried over from yesterday

You did not need more motivation. You needed to not be the only one who knew.

Every habit app is a private argument with yourself, and a private argument is one you can quietly lose. Nobody sees the morning you skipped. Nothing changes if you stop.

How it works

Three things, every day.

No dashboards to configure and no streak of nothing. You decide what matters, you do it, and the day is either kept or it is not.

Say what you will do

Write the goal and, more importantly, why. Every goal becomes one of today's promises — a short list, not a backlog.

Prove the ones that count

Tick the small ones. For the promises you would lie to yourself about, take the photo. A tick is easy. A photograph is not.

Let someone know

Add a friend and the argument stops being private. They see the streak you are protecting, and you have to say something when it breaks.

What it does

Built for the day you do not feel like it.

The whole design assumes you will have bad weeks. Nothing here punishes you for one.

Someone knows

Discipline, out loud

Add a friend by username — they have to accept before either of you can say a word. Send a message, share a thought or a song, show the moments worth showing. There is no public feed, no group chat, and no way for a stranger to reach you. Block, mute or report anyone; a person reads every report within 24 hours.

A conversation with a friend about a streak that nearly broke

A streak that forgives

One bad day is not failure

Built-in freezes mean a missed day does not erase a month. And a promise you did not keep asks one honest question: do it today, or let it go. Both are discipline. Guilt is not.

A mentor, not a tracker

Told the truth, kindly

Your mentor reads your week, notices the patterns you do not, and gives you one thing to carry forward. Encouraging on the hard days, direct when you need it, never shame.

Write it down

Prompts that make you honest

A question a day, worth actually answering. Entries are encrypted on your device and saved to your account, so changing phones does not cost you a word. Ask your mentor to read one, and only that one.

Train, and be honest about it

Every set, and what it cost you

Plan the session, then log what you actually did — weight, reps, and how many you had left in you. Records, history, and the day's calories and macros beside them. No red numbers for going over.

A look at it

Dark, quiet, and out of your way.

Nothing flashes, nothing celebrates. There is a light mode too, if that is how you read.

Plainly

What Ryvelo is not.

Worth saying out loud, because most of this category does the opposite.

  • Not a social network. No public feed, no followers, no strangers. Friends are mutual and one-to-one.
  • Not free with ads. There are no ads at all. You are the customer, not the product.
  • Not a guilt machine. No red badges, no shaming notifications, no scolding for a missed day.
  • Not selling your data. We never sell it and never use your journal to train AI.
  • Not end-to-end encrypted messaging. Messages are stored so they survive a new phone. They are never scanned, but do not use this as a secure messenger.
  • Not a replacement for help. It is a discipline app, not therapy or medical advice.

Questions

Before you download.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Ryvelo is iPhone-only today. The app is built so Android is possible, but it is not released and there is no date for it.

What happens to my streak if I miss a day?

Nothing dramatic. You get two freezes a month, and a single missed day is bridged automatically. Miss more than the freezes cover and the streak restarts — but the day you missed still asks whether you want to carry that promise forward or let it go on purpose.

Can other people see my goals or my journal?

No. Friends see what you deliberately send them — a message, a thought, a song, or a moment you chose to share. Your goals, your journal and your check-ins are not visible to anyone else. Your journal is encrypted on your device and saved to your account so a new phone does not cost you it; we never use it to train AI and we never sell it.

Do I need friends to use it?

No. Everything works alone — goals, proof, streaks, journal, training, the mentor. Friends make it harder to quit quietly, which is why it exists, but nothing is locked behind having one.

What is the AI mentor actually doing?

It reads your week — your kept promises, your check-ins, your progress — and writes a short review: what it noticed, and one thing to carry forward. You can also ask it to reflect on a single journal entry, which sends that one entry for that one answer and stores nothing. It is not a chatbot and it does not message you unprompted.

Can I get my data out, or delete it?

Yes, both, from inside the app. Export downloads everything we hold on you. Deleting your account removes it — including your photos in storage, not just the database rows.

Is the trial really everything?

Everything except the AI mentor features — the weekly review, journal reflections and on-demand advice. Those cost money to run per person, so they are part of a subscription rather than the trial. The rest of the app is fully usable for the seven days.
